"In celebration
of a life given in the service of God, we raise a toast to St. Patrick,
Patron Saint of Ireland, and perform the
traditional folk music of Ireland, Scotland, and the Celtic peoples of
ancient times. The public is invited to join with O'Malley's regulars in
a spirited musical celebration of a life well-lived, featuring our local
Celtic band Celtic Knot." Alan
McRae, Bodhran player
From
6:00-9:00pm Local Celtic musicians will be
performing their popular interpretations of traditional Irish, Celtic, and
Scottish folk music as pitchers of fresh beer make their way around the
pub. Their exuberant rhythmic
style, with dueling violins, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, fabulous
flute, upright bass and assorted percussion will definitely "get your Irish up".
